Kenya is a nation built on the blood, sweat, and dreams of its people — not on the chaos of street violence, not on the ashes of looted businesses, and certainly not on the backs of those who seek to rise to power through destruction.

In recent days, we have witnessed disturbing scenes: criminals attacking police officers, torching security installations, and vandalizing businesses that ordinary Kenyans rely on for their daily survival. Let us call these actions what they truly are — terrorism.

These are not protests. These are not expressions of democratic freedom. These are coordinated attacks on the stability of our nation. Such criminal acts are nothing short of a declaration of war on the people of Kenya.

Kenya Is Not a Playground for Power-Hungry Opportunists

Let it be known: We will not allow retrogressive elements to destroy Kenya for their selfish political ambitions. There is no shortcut to leadership. Those who lack vision, integrity, and the trust of the people cannot manufacture legitimacy through violence.

We are a democratic country governed by the rule of law. Anyone who believes in change must follow the constitutional path — not one paved with stones, fires, and bloodshed.

Leadership That Builds, Not Destroys

Today, I was in Dagoretti North, Nairobi, overseeing the construction progress of 540 housing units at Kilimani Police Station. This project is a symbol of our commitment to our security personnel — the very people under attack from the same lawless groups.

We are not just building houses; we are building a better future. A future where every officer can serve with dignity. A future where every citizen feels safe. A future where progress speaks louder than destruction.

A Call to Action: Kenya Must Stand Together

To every Kenyan of goodwill — this is your country. Do not be fooled by those who thrive in division and disorder. Let’s rise above tribalism, manipulation, and fear. Let’s choose peace. Let’s protect our economy, our institutions, and each other.

We are stronger than those who burn our businesses. We are better than those who attack our police. And we are wiser than those who think chaos is a path to leadership.

Enough is enough.
