CCTV Footage Shows Final Moments of 22-Year-Old Woman Before Fatal Fall from Kileleshwa Airbnb



A tragic incident in Kileleshwa has left a family in deep pain and a community searching for answers after a 22-year-old woman lost her life under unclear circumstances. 

The young woman, identified as Consolata Githinji, reportedly fell from the sixth floor of an apartment at a short-stay accommodation facility. Authorities have since launched investigations to determine what really happened in her final moments.

What Happened That Night

According to CCTV footage reviewed by Citizen TV, Consolata arrived at the apartment at around 4:17am accompanied by a man identified as Tonny Odhiambo.

With the help of a night guard, the two accessed apartment C601 shortly after arrival.

However, what followed has raised serious concerns:

  • At around 4:32am, movement at the doorway suggested possible commotion
  • By 4:34am, the guard briefly entered the apartment
  • At 4:46am, Consolata was seen for the last time

What happened next remains a mystery.

Police Action and Arrest

Police have since arrested a 33-year-old man believed to have been with Consolata at the time of the incident.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations arrived at the scene at around 6:09am, collecting evidence and documenting the scene as part of ongoing investigations.

The suspect claimed that Consolata had been standing near a window before the fall and that he was unable to stop her. He also alleged that she had expressed distress earlier—but authorities have not confirmed this version of events.

More Questions Than Answers

Investigations have revealed additional details that complicate the case:

  • The apartment was not booked under the suspect’s name
  • Records show that three individuals—two women and one man—had earlier checked into the same room
  • Police are now working to identify and question them

These developments have raised even more questions about what truly happened inside that apartment.

For Consolata’s family, the pain is not just in the loss—but in the uncertainty.

They are seeking clarity on whether her death was self-inflicted or if there is more to the case. The lack of clear answers has only deepened their grief.
